چکیده
Abstract The use of ammonia as a fuel is one the promising pathways to decarbonize energy sector. When converted into power in so-called “Ammonia-to-Power”, most interesting technology Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) that can operate directly with and reach high performance terms efficiency. SOFCs are high-efficiency and, potentially, low-cost technology, but still suffer from degradation issues related internal losses. An innovative experimental technique evaluate losses evolution caused by electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), followed measurement data post-processing through Distribution Relaxation Times (DRT) analysis. In this study, single SOFC studied combined EIS DRT methodology, when operating gas mixture hydrogen, nitrogen ammonia. results identify contribution dilution decomposition reaction.

Equivalent Electrical Circuit Modeling of Ceramic-Based Microbial Fuel Cells Using the Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) Analysis
The effect of the thickness of ceramic membrane on the productivity of microbial fuel cells (MFCs) was investigated with respect to the electricity generation and domestic wastewater treatment efficiencies. The thickest ceramic membrane (9 mm) gained the highest coulombic efficiency (27.58±4.2 %), voltage (681.15±33.1 mV), and current and power densities (447.11±21.37 mA/m2, 63.82±10.42 mW/m2) ...
متن کاملA novel approach for analyzing electrochemical properties of mixed conducting solid oxide fuel cell anode materials by impedance spectroscopy.
For application of acceptor-doped mixed conducting oxides as solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) anodes, high electrochemical surface activity as well as acceptable electronic and ionic conductivity are crucial. In a reducing atmosphere, particularly the electronic conductivity of acceptor-doped oxides can become rather low and the resulting complex interplay of electrochemical reactions and charge tr...

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is an efficient, non-intrusive and semi-quantitative technique to characterize the performance of bio-electrochemical systems such as microbial fuel cells and enzymatic fuel cells. Indeed, quantitative interpretation of the impedance data can be obtained with the help of mechanistic models using meaningful equivalent circuits. The production of maximum pow...
